5 Unique locations for Boise Idaho High School Senior Photos

High School Senior Photos is a triumphant time. It is a time well worth celebrating because they are leaving the High School scene and walking into uncharted territory with new memories, challenges, and a plethora of adventures on the horizon.

While we can sit here and say it is another milestone reached; it is so much more than that. High School Senior pictures are no longer just a milestone; they are an experience, a rite of passage. It is a time to embrace the future of growth, change, and becoming the person they are meant to be.

With that being said, you realize you want this rite of passage to be an amazing, memorable, and never been done before session with creative senior picture ideas that are one of a kind pictures. You don’t want the typically same old, same old High School Senior photo session at the same locations where all the seniors get their photos done at. You want some fresh and new locations. This is why I have compiled this list of 5 unique locations to do your High School Senor photo shoot:

1. Bookstore/Library: if your high school senior is a bookworm, writer, or you just want a different vibe/feel - than taking their photos among the rows of books may be the right road to take.

2. Coffee Shop: whether your high school senior is the one making the espressos or the one drinking them (or both), coffee shops can provide a great backdrop, even if it's not all about the coffee. Perhaps your high school senior likes to read there, write, or just do homework. If it offers a glimpse into their everyday life, it's worth pursuing.

3. Laundromat: I've seen a lot of fun, retro photos from shoots at laundromats. It's a fun throwback and if you've got a High School Senior who loves the retro vibe this location might be right up their alley.

4. Bright fall colors/scenery for outdoors: Maybe your High School Senior loves colors and art and the changing trees in the fall are a must have – Kathryn Albertson Park, Idaho Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park, and Cottonwood Creek Trailhead in Boise, Idaho are perfect go to spots with amazing foliage and bright, vibrant colors.

5. Blossoming Orchards in Marsing Idaho: this is a unique and rare occurrence. The beautiful white and pink blossoms are only around for maybe a month and a half in the spring and when those strong spring winds come in the stunning petals will vanish. The orchard (with the direct permission from the orchards managers) I use is truly one of a kind and the sunset is magnificent. You will not be disappointed.

No matter what background/scenery you want; whether it is city/urban or country/rural style - I have you covered. I have an enormous list of locations to choose form here in the Treasure Valley, Boise, Idaho. If you have a certain type of background in mind I can make it happen as long as we have permission.

Let's create some amazing school graduation pictures and collaborate with our photoshoot ideas.
